What constitutes the programme\u2019s overarching goal is the optimisation of the use of European Structural Funds in certain regions. The programme thus demands the improvement of a &#8220;political instrument&#8221; in every participating partner region during the five-year life cycle of the project concerned. This is achieved through the partners\u2019 improvement of the instruments in the first three years of the cycle. The participating regions thereby aim specifically at selected projects making use of their regional strategies, funding sources and operational programmes. The following two years are dedicated to the implementation of these instruments.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the HafenCity University Hamburg, REM Consult took on the responsibility for coordinating the project <a href=\"https:\/\/rem-consult.eu\/en\/projekt-en\/rumore-innovation-through-rural-urban-partnerships\/\">RUMORE<\/a> in the Interreg Europe programme. In the previous programming period, REM Consult successfully developed and supported the project <a href=\"https:\/\/rem-consult.eu\/en\/projekt-en\/urma-improving-urban-rural-cooperation\/\">URMA<\/a>.
