However, there is a chance to turn the NSR\u00b4s economic and innovative strengths into a greener direction \u2013 in line with a vast number of frameworks and objectives, from the UN Sustainable Development Goals to the EU2020 Strategy. One important approach to become more sustainable is the transformation to a circular economy. Making this transformation happen and disseminating approaches for \u201chow-to\u201d is thus at the core of the new project idea for the Interreg North Sea Region Programme.<\/p>\n<p>Together with the Danish client Business Region Fyn, REM Consult supports the consortium of Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch and German partners in the development of the project and the application.<\/p>\n<p>The partners implement pilot activities \u2013 e.g. for waste, industrial symbiosis and capacity building \u2013 and put special emphasis on the improvement of governance structures in their regions.
