Workshop: Social Innovation in the next Funding Period
Together with the #socialinterreg initiative we kindly invite you to an interactive workshop about social innovation in Interreg. We are looking forward to welcoming projects from all over Europe, speakers from different Interreg programmes, the EUSBSR as a macro-regional strategy as well as scientists, practitioners and decision-makers working on Interreg and/or social innovation.
What is the workshop about?
The workshop not only offers an excellence opportunity for networking, but also aims at exploring how the concept of social innovation can be integrated into current and future territorial cooperation programmes. Moreover, three focus topics will be presented and discussed in breakout rooms:
(1) Does social innovation have a place in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR)?
(2) How to measure the success of social innovation projects?
(3) How to initiate collaboration in social innovation across sectors?
What is the #socialinterreg initiative?
Social innovation matters, and transnational cooperation can help generate and stimulate social innovation. This is why more than thirty Interreg projects joined forces in the #socialinterreg campaign. Especially in the light of the programming process for the next funding period 2021-2027, the initiative wants to showcase the added value of projects working with social innovation in Interreg.
