The Wadden Sea Funding Guide – developed by REM Consult in cooperation with Dr. Cormac Walsh – gives a comprehensive overview of funding opportunities specifically for projects related to the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage. The essential content of the underlying analysis will be presented in a webinar.

The Wadden Sea Funding Guide* supports the trilateral partnership for the promotion of the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea in the search and acquisition of suitable national and international funding opportunities. A special focus is placed on those topics and associated funding opportunities that are closely related to the trilateral partnership: nature conservation, sustainable regional development, international cooperation, education and interpretation as well as governance and brand management of the world natural heritage.

In a webinar organised on 23 Juni 2022 the main contents of the Funding Guide are presented, potential matches between funding opportunities and thematic priorities of the trilateral partnership are discussed, and practical guidance for developing projects is given.
