Creative Ports: Virtual Partner Meeting

Partners proceed online amidst ongoing travel restrictions

Despite COVID-19 restrictions, the partners of Creative Ports are making further progress. The sixth transnational partner meeting was organised as a three days online event from 7 to 9 October 2020, instead of meeting in Rendsburg, Germany as planned. All 14 project partners from the Baltic Sea region countries came together, updated each other, discussed and interacted in fun exercises and energizers as well, such as the pub quiz in the morning.

Although the collaboration and facilitation are somewhat harder to accomplish, the meeting paved the way for discussion on improved cooperation between the Culture and Creative Industries actors of the participating countries, taking on the challenge of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and on advancing strategies to unlock their internationalisation potential. Working jointly with enthusiastic and engaging partners who all value the spirit of the project, the meeting set-off the crucial phase when the internationalisation tools will be piloted, which will eventually lead to learning modules on the Creative Ports online platform. Although the partners were sad about not being able to meet in person this time, the project continues with full momentum, confident of its future outcomes!
